I have been an avid watcher of your videos for a couple of years. I enjoy watching this video because of the variety of marks and methods of applications result in a painting that has an endless number of places to get lost in the finished painting. This is especially true for your larger works. I watch them over and over again. Your work is truly inspiring.

I think this is beautiful and is always interesting to watch. I always wonder if abstract artist have an initial thought or idea of what they want to paint before they paint. Did you think in your head, ‘I want to paint a rhythm’ of sorts, and then pick your colours and do it? Or do you think i want to work with these colours and lets see what comes of it? Or do you actually see in your head a picture and then are able to just do it as exactly as what you see in your head? I can never quite figure out how you guys think this stuff up. But it always looks so cool and/or beautiful. I just wonder how on earth to come up with an idea like that? If you ever do another one of these videos, I would love to hear your thought process as you go along and do it!

Just beautiful! My favourites are abstract landscapes. I find general abstracts often a little boring. But not yours!! This is absolutely stunning with the pattern distribution, the dry brush, then the pallet knife, etc. Stunning!

That's a bad ass tree. I like how the mountains are smaller and foreground. It reminds me of the fires last year come to think.
