This watch is just amazing. I have the SSG020. This one kills that one. I passed on this before cause it didn't display the date, as a #. Then I noticed all along I didn't see it. Usually it's at the 3 o'clock position. On this one it's a bit lower. But at an angle. I could not be more pleasantly surprised. Great time piece.

Work is sending me the SSG021. I cant wait. These seem easier to set than the PCATs.

The sync radio for the U.S, is in Colorado. I 'm in Chicago. The SSG001 has NEVER synced up and corrected itself; not even when I'm outside with the watch pointed west.

Do you have to be outside to set the time automatically? The reason I ask is because I have a Seiko Astron and I have to be outside in the open to set the time via GPS which is a bother

I recently bought my 2nd Coutura from a Retailer Friend of mine. It's a SSG 010. It had never been sold or worn and sat in the box ( new ) in a drawer for 7+ years ( its a 2016) It is totally dead . . . I mean DEAD. I knowingly bought it this way. Won't run, won't charge so of course it won't reset. I have given it 10hrs of outdoor recharge . . . No Signs of Life sofar.
I have a new and Expensive $73 Capacitor ( Seiko 3022-65Y ) coming from CA for it in hopes that might be the problem. Seemed to be the most likely cause to me ???
Any Expert Help/Advice would be Greatly Appreciated.

P.S. My other one is a Jimmy Johnson Special Edition /Blue Dial / 2 Button that I have had for 4yrs and I am well aware of how it operates. Both Look Pristine . . . I rarely wear them and mostly keep them in the window.

? Question ? : Is there a more reasonably priced compatible capacitor other than the 3022-65Y. Both of my Coutura' have the same 8B92 Movement . . . Thanks To ALL . . . Wish Me LUCK.

Im having trouble resetting the stopwatch hand to straight up 12.

Wonderfully bling! er... swank. The only thing that irks? Seiko insists on using the push-pin bracelet clasp removal for adjusting the bracelet. On a Casio perhaps; but push pins on a +$600 piece? This is a watch that will get snagged it should have screw-down link removal access like a $100 Chinese amazon special does.

Seiko and Citizen watches is so hard to set!!! I bought Citizen perpetual calendar watch and gave it to watch shop to set calendar cause all I did is a two time zones and alarm)))) that’s why I love my AP and Rolex mechanical

I am doing a search for a Seiko Chronograph watch that is automatic, not quartz movement, which of those watches do you recommend, also all Seiko chronographs are quartz movement, why is this?

During regular use I occasionally press a button and stop the watch. I suppose I'm inadvertently pressing a button. Anyone else having that problem?
