Wish you had asked him what the price would be. According to my google searching about 120k US according to what they cost in Germany.

Front windscreen is only one axis curved so they can just use flat sheet. That should be quite cost effective. What is the price? their website doesn't seem to indicate. Bit of an unfortunate habit in aviation to hide prices.
If they can represent it, the german made FK14 might be very interesting. Looks great, light, has a ballistic chute, low price around 137k€ and can do 240km/h (130kts) with 912 and they say they are working on a 915 version. And the swiss made Risen/Siren 912/915 are unbeatable but more expensive. I recently found out that if you bring oxygen the Risen 915 can do 250kts at FL200, that's 463km/h. That's going places. Not far from a Cirrus Visionjet in speed. While burning maybe 30l/h or 6.6gph vs a visionjet's 74. And can land on any field. Different birds but still.
It would take one hell of an engine to get a cessna 172 up to 250kts.
