It was bizarre, to say the least, to find the old TV set still powered and flickering with static-snow given that the outer entryway to the fallout shelter had been open and exposed to the elements these past several years. But as we emerged, after nearly a decade underground, there it was -- drawing juice from the underground nuclear batteries just like the rest of the shelter. I hadn't remembered the waterfalls going in -- there'd been no time in the haste and chaos before the bombs, and it had been in darkness. Now, aside from the soft hissing from the TV, there was just the splashing rush of the water as it cascaded down the hillside -- and the uncertainty of what kind of world now lay beyond.

This track makes me feel introspective, curious, safe, and a little cold. It's been a recent favorite of mine when I'm working on my trauma-recovery homework. Thank you so much for sharing 🙏

Also, I'm not a fan of generative AI images, but this is undeniably a really cool idea. I love the addition of a video game menu <3
