I do enjoy playing Idle games.
Mostly I like the ones that progress quietly in the background while I do other stuff.
It gives the feeling of making progress without you having to actually do anything for it.

So far my favorites are Endless World and Melvor. As someone with hand issues can still make progress and enjoy them, plus Melvor is basically runescape idle.

Games that have a farming mechanism when you turn off the game are idle in name only. Every rpg or building game ever you could tack on close the game and get resources while you are gone.

This video males me want to come back to glorious Knights and Merchants. It may be RTS, but tbh it's defo idle game when u just look at peasants harvesting wheat, miller making flour and baker forming loafs of bread. Mezmerizing.
