I have the wired version of these and use them at work, where I talk on the phone to customers all day. They are the most comfortable headset I've ever used for phone call-based work. Glad my employer is totally cool letting us use whatever PC peripherals we want! Might pull the trigger on buying the wireless version for work, would let me go to the kitchen while still talking to customers!

Honestly, I've watched a few reviews of these and think the mic quality really depends on who the speaker is, as any mic is like, but especially for headset mics this seems the case. I bought some of these today :D

i feel like the max volume for my cloud core is scuffed cause it's not as loud as my hyperx cloud 2. also the cloud core does have bass boost. you just need to go to settings, sound, and enhancements and it does support the bass boost feature

So price-wise it is a successor of the HyperX Cloud Flight with larger drivers, USB-C and more metal/sturdier design.
The downsides are mostly due to the HyperX Cloud II/Logitech G Pro X headband design: non-rotating earcups, probably higher clamp force. I do like the sound of the HyperX Cloud Flight and if this is truly better, my wallet will cry.

I use the HyperX Cloud Alpha S and despite it being wired, it's pretty damn good. If I'm shopping wireless, I'll definitely keep this video in mind. 🖤
