One of the clearest, prettiest and overall best crochet tutorials I've found on YouTube to date. Thank you so much!

Very nicely done. I haven't crocheted in about 20 years but my son has asked me to make him an afghan and I definitely needed to be reminded of how to do it. Your video was clear and concise . Your voice is clear and you explain slowly as you show the stitch. You are great. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise in such a professional way.

I LOVE THIS! All the tutorials I've seen go through the whole stich instead of the top loop. My grandmother thought me the way you've done it in this video. I just forgot a few details. So thank you so much! !! You've got a new subscriber!😆

Im trying to make Chevron blankrts for all my family members. I sometimes leave my piece for months at a time without working on it because of life but everytime I'm ready to work on it again I come back and watch this video to remind myself if the turns and how to start a new color. It's very helpful

Love the way you explain it, it's so easy, I do have a tendency to make mistake where you have to crochet the three single crochet at the tip : (. Love your work!

If you want a piece wider than this sample, it is a series of 13 chain plus 2 chain e.g. 26 chain plus 2 chain and SC 5, not 4. I believe the single SC count goes up with the increase in the width. I tried the b hooked way of using 11 chain plus 2, but I never ended up with that single chain stitch as my last stitch. I hope this will save you frustration.

Thank you for this easy to understand and well photographed video! I am not a crocheter (or a knitter - though super crafty in other ways). I recently bought a "tunic" length sweater that ended up being not as long as promised. The bottom edge is finished in a crocheted ripple stitch, and the color scheme is grey and black, so it looks pretty do-able to find more yarn and add length. I'll make a practice piece to learn the stitches per your video, but then I'm going to tackle the sweater and see if I can fix it! Your video makes me feel I will be successful!

2 Comments: First, I REALLY APPRECIATE how definitively, how slowly, you made your stitches. That makes all the difference, being able to see exactly WHERE you’re entering a stitch. Good 👍🏻 Work.
Secondly, @17:00 where there’s the color changing (🪢 knot) instead of making a knot for color change, just wrap the hook with the second yarn color. Maybe there wouldn’t be that confusing knot at the end of the row, which COULD look like the stitch to finish the row with the last 2 SC? Just a thought?

I want to thank you for your video . I could never find a video that showed me how to finish and start the next row. I always had problems with it. Now I think I understand it. Thank you so very much.

I like this pattern... but for anyone that is wondering, if you want all of your ridges to be on the same side of your work, you have to alternate front and back stitch as you flip your work.
