214 means February 14, said by Rico Blanco but the real 1st title of this song was "Proposal" when he wrote it when he was 18y.o few years before he joined the band but he was not really comfortable about it because for him it was too cheesy.
He asked to his bandmates for the title for this song and Nathan said "214". Then Rico asked for the meaning and Nathan said "February 14, Valentienes day".
Later on Rico relaized that 214 can stand as "Am I Real". The song was already released and they never had the chance to think for a better title. so yun nlng daw 214 ang title which means february 14.
