my best friend has a 5l v8 928, and the best way i can describe the sound of it starting up is like a gigawatt subwoofer. you can hear it, being realistic, 800m away. His entire house trembles, and its not small.

To this day, I still want one. I know the styling wasn't for evey one, but it struck me at an early age. Oh, remember when Renault called their Fueago(S?) more stylish than the Porsche 928?! Thanks for the quick vid.

Standard 1987> 928 body (although the rear spoiler is colour coded versus matt black plastic for early S4)

Sounds like an 82 Camero. You can say a lot of good things about the transaxle cars, but engine sound isn’t one of them in my opinion. I am a 968 driver.
