About those giant steps we are taking in the right direction: I would say that we are making some strides upstream on the great river of degeneracy. But not so giant ones I'm afraid. There are also many wrong paths. For example the nationalism that you mentioned which is leading many to think in a collectivist way.

About the economic question: I'm afraid the EU is not 100% advantageous even on an economic level. Yes, we get funds but the open market leads to multinational corporations dominating in Hungary. And we all know who control those giant corporations.

About Orbán Viktor: I totally support him. Yes, he is not perfect but I totally agree with you. And I don't think that the problem is corruption. Yes, the Orbán government does support based hungarian businessmen over foreign leftist companies even if the latter have better offers and terms. And the media labels this as corruption. The problem with him is not this in my opinion. The problem is that he is inherently a democratic politician. Meaning he bows to the mob and acts according to popularity indexes sometimes.

About the economic question in general: You phrased it perfectly. "They say money is power but power is power". I don't think that we, hungarians should necessarily aim for economic and material well being. Because I'm afraid that this comfort, this well-being is one of the causes of the fall of the West.

Modern Europe is from post-WW2. It's a liberalized West, so of course it can't AND shouldn't be saved. Most right-wing parties and people today that want to save the West is trying to keep the post-WW2 liberal Europe going. The question should be where Europe should be heading to.

Poland has an unhealthy obsession with, and invasion of, Filipino wives. By all means, Poland is not yet lost, and shows honestly far more hope than here in the UK, but they have to get on top of that problem one way or another.
