Thank you for the video! Was a bit awkward to understand the calculator when it’s on Spanish, but after the video I understood all crystal clear!

I think you may have answered my previous question about what the Normal PD function does, in response to a comment on one of your other videos. Presumably, the vertical axis is probability density and the calculator returns a value for this, for an inputted horizontal axis value, mean and s.d. Given that this function doesn't seem very useful, I was a bit surprised that it was the first ND option.

Really nice job mate, articulate explanation, 1080p and good example. Retaking S1 soon, this should help.

Thank you too much, for the effort as well for your clear accent.

Any idea how to enter this question. “ on investigating The labour efficiency an organisation is found that there is typically a favourable mean of $65000 and a standard deviation of $5000.
What is the probability that the variance is less than $45000?”

On my way to my A level statistics exam😅 Thank you sir!

thank you, i can now calculate in calculator without z-table.

Last time I did statistics, I used tables. I only recently found out that they appear to have become obsolete! Hope calculator is not an impediment to understanding ND e.g. converting to standard normal distribution, calculating mean and s.d. given two areas (involves solving a pair of simultaneous equations) etc.

Thank you for your videos, they are very helpful.

For B, they'd take the integral from 140 to 150 of that function and divide by the same denominator as before.

Note that the standard deviation function is non-integrable.

These questions are four and five marks - how should one answer these in an exam? It's normally frowned upon to say "My calculator said <answer>" and often won't earn any marks.

Hi man, what if the question asked P(S<144)? Then i would take the upper limit as 144 but what about the lower limit? Please reply ASAP as it is urgent! Thanks.

Hi with my casio fx-82EX I only get the first 3 options for the menu, is this normal or is there something going wrong?

Is there any way to do this if I have a probability value and am looking for a mean/standard deviation? Is there a way I could do this by graphing a normalcd with x as a mean or an standard deviation? I could do this on Texas Instruments calculators but don't know how to do this on Casio.

Don't we have to take the square root of the standard deviation?
