Creating a Segment on Strava.com

if i want to try and beat someones time do i have to set a new ride and record it or does it do it automatically? or when i leave the house should i just start new ride and stop when finished? im using an iphone thanks

to bad shit doesnt ever work, at least not for me. I never show up on the leader board

Nothing worse than doing a massive run or ride only to find strava lost it. It very rarely works and I have tested it on a large number of GPS devices now

Did the way you create segments change since this video? If so, the new way SUCKS. Go back to this way please. Looks much better.
