The reasonable and most usable Size of steps in stair is 15cm rise (Height) and 30 cm Tread (width )that is 6"(0.5ft)x1'.(12").for smooth climbing for above 50 years old People and patients etc.
So re think as per requirements.
In colloquial or locallly we are using foot pound system ie inch and adi(foot)But The Approved Measurement system is in Metric ie metre & kilogramme
So the Preparation of Video/Audio maybe follow 2ways.
According to the dimentione of room and consider the Height of Building .Size can be changed as per the said Space and Height of building.Thanks .

With my experience a comfortable relationship of tread to riser as 29 cm 17 cm. for school college hostel etc. and 27 17 for residential buildings if dimensions are available. Tread need not be less than 27cm.if space available for a comfortable descent. 25 cm is found slightly uncomfortable
