just to make the point tree staps although heavy are not to just be something to attatch to but in order to save the a thin line will crush the cells just under the bark which take nutrients from the roots up to the tree leaves, hence why they are flat and usually 2 inch

Research the hammock before making a video the bottom layer is waterproof the second layer is not the tabs on the sides are for under blankets and you can strap it to the ground and if you need to no I have this hammock and 3 other dd hammock all the hammock are great

Great review. ...DD Hammocks also sell woopie slings sets/tree hugger straps, and they sell amsteel, per metre.. (for diy)

Should try Dyneema 4 mm cord and make woopee slings with a breaking strain of 1 tonne...

The whoopie directly on the dd, some 2.5cm straps around the tree without carabiner. Saves more weight and the trees!

Why not feed the whoopie slings directly into the hammock to avoid the need for continuous loops and the whoopie hook. Save some money, and it's one less bit of kit to carry or set up.

I have a DD travel hammock and a 3m X 3m tarp, with a zero degree C sleeping bag, I could sleep at zero degree C comfortably (no sleeping pad needed because of the double layer).
