My Detransition: So Much Feedback!

I never imagined the response I would get to my detransition video, particularly from parents, grandparents, and counselors. Overwhelming they wanted to know how one can know he or she is transgendered. In this video I share my thoughts on the downside of social media influencers and the responsibility of society in shaping our young. #detransition #trans #transgender #viralvideo #viral #transgender #mtf #hormones #hrt

Your insightful position is just another point of proof that YOU are so staggeringly bright ! I’ve always thought you are since day one! Several years ago I described you to a friend of mine who was present when I was watching you online, as a person that has wonderful advice and perspective on a myriad of subjects! That was then and this is now and I STILL agree with my feelings about you. God Bless you and how diligent you have always been to bring us great things to think about.❤ Looking good this morning as usual ! 🙋🏻‍♀️💕💥

These are all excellent points…. At my age (72) I think way back to my teenage years…..Times were so different….The One thing that stayed the same is we wanted to fit in…Your so correct these influences are powerful to a young person trying to find their way…in these trying times….🙋🏻‍♀️☺️💕

When I was a child around age 10 - 11 I hung out with my brother and his friend - We would catch snakes lizards toads - dig up worms - climb trees build forts - build a raft to take on the flooded field - another words I was a tomboy - that just lasted for a year or so - If I was that age now in 2024 with so much technology and influence... I have no words as to how it could have affected me - I pray for the children and all of humanity.

-Wonderful vid. Your dialog here transcends the topic at hand. Wonderful presentation on a compassionate approach towards one life in general. Very nice analogies... I look forward to sharing this and also re-watching - great message. Thanks

We are who we are dear Rosie. Everyone is unique. If we understand and accept who we are in the good and in the bad, we are ok. We don't need to listen to influencers. I never did, I just watch people who are real and true to themselves and for sure you're one of those people ❤

I always say this is something that is part of who I am. I had no trans influences when I was a child but, deep down I know I should have been born female. It’s never been about the clothes or anything else associated with stereo typical feminine tropes.

Rosie excellent comments, I had a friend that was transgender didn't understand with another friends help and yours I understand a little better. Growing up my father was my mentor really helped when I was younger. I don't follow social media, and I won't, to many fish to be caught! Always your friend 🧡 from Baltimore Hun!!!!

yes Rosie wise advice for sure, I was 4 years old and remember clearly wanting to be a girl, wow, I still wonder how does that happen? and that feeling has hung around all my life, but I was riddled with shame and guilt at having these feelings, so its taken a lifetime for me to let the genie out of the bottle, well that was about 15 years ago, Im 72 now and making up for lost time, but it still is not easy, in some ways my life is easier, but everything costs, lost family, friends jobs etc but Im so far down that road now Im just grateful for small blessings, I have never had any surgery and glad I didn't, I currently am off hormones from personal choice after 10 years on them, I have experienced both sides of the coin in my time, but my community knows me only as "female" it would be harder to revert to my old self now xxx

I am glad you remembered Steve. Those old days at our little group that our late friend Merisa and Carla started. I was one of the ones that stayed at the Holiday Express for, whoever was interested. A lot of us did in the early days. A lot of found chooching memories. Steve did one of his early video's from were he stayed. it is still on one of his You tube channels. On the Jefa Tech Wifi extender. I am going to put my feelings on the subject of transitioning. I to had started on the road to transitioning. I Have had a lot of confusion of my gender growing up. Before all the social media and political hype on the issue. It took my a long time to find myself. I had to stop hormone treatments due to an underling health issue. Growing up I discovered I am just as comfortable being male as female. Even though my female side is greater. I still present female as well as male. My first time out was the scariest thing I ever did. I am so glad that I did. I am also glad that i took the advice of my friend Don. He and his late husband were very good mentors to me. He always told me to take things very slow and experiment was OK. I would figure things out for myself someday. He was so. right. I really feel for the young people growing up to day. Their is so much confusion in social media and in politics.and even through the schools. Young people should just be allowed to be young in a healthy way. Just be allowed to grow up and figure things out for themselves. If you talk to any of us in our community we will tell you that we do not wish this on anyone. It is very hard growing up as an outcast; Steve aka Rosie and i are very lucky to have the friend and support we do. Were always pushing each other forward in a positive way. Their really are not as many of us as the media and politicians make us out to be.

I wish the young people would believe the older and wiser adults. Not that every adult becomes drastically wiser, but they at least know more than they did when they were younger..The biggest thing is how your thoughts and feelings change from your teens 20s 30s 40s.. They change so drastically that most of people do not even resemble the same person they were when they were in their teens. If young people would believe this, then they would not sabotage your lives so much.
