If anybody is wondering *where the contestants go when they fall* there are no trap doors or anything like that it’s just good editing If someone was to fall in the “lava” they stop everything get the person out and continue with the show the whole point is to make it seem like the contestant died in the lava 😂

But if anybody was wondering what the lava is made out of it’s just lots of slime and water

this game show really makes me laugh. I remember playing this in Alaska when I was 9 in 1968. Saturday mornings were "Lava Game Day" and we had a blast at the playground. At least in the feet of snow kind of made it weird. Then we had the games interrupted by the sudden appearance of moose or bear. My were great times!

1:06 I think the floor is not deep at all. Two pics in this video prove it. When they fall in, see the hand just resting against the rock. I think after they fall in, they wait a second or two and just STAND UP. Then the show edits that part out.

Why did they film all of the interviews before they did the run? It seems like it would be fun for them to talk about their strategy and how they planned their run. But they are so vague like "wow I can't believe we did it" How in the world would they not even talk about the strategy when they won. To me it's super weird but the show is great otherwise.
