I would never want an SUV (silly unnecessary vehicle) I have driven estates for years. I have had a superb estate, an XF estate and now I have a 508 estate ( ok Station wagon) they always drive better, look better and have pretty much all of the practicality of an SUV. Long live the estate!

Sport trim looks well appointed and probably be happy with it but you'd have to be prepared to be talked down to by the mercedes sales staff.

You say this car is the UK Sport model, but it is fitted with the fully electric memory seat/steering wheel pack which is not listed as an option in the UK and only available with AMG line Premium pack and above. So what exactly is this car?

Not unless it has a proper 3 pointed star hood ornament. I don’t personally like the way these new Mercedes look. I prefer a more elegant and timely fashion with a proper 3 pointed start sitting on top of the hood. Like the w204. I also want more wood & luxuries none of this technology garbage that is not in any way luxurious. It’s all too much hard work.
