It makes me wonder why so many other victorious invaders simply burned most cities down. Comparatively, it was rather civilized for the Athenians to let the citizens out. Smart to reuse the existing infrastructure rather than burning it all down.

The graphics in this short are contradictory with your other documentary on the Peloponnesian war. Potidaea was not located at the tip of the Pallene peninsula (it was depicted more accurately in your other earlier video).
