Honestly that was the same experience in the empty cinema. I wanted to give the movie a chance and yes I now understand why this movie didn’t meet expectations and it delivered poorly on the storytelling. The concept was good and it could’ve done something different for video game films but failed miserably. The casting was good with having A-List Actors but the writers had minimal creativity whatsoever with any interesting plot, unique dialogue or group chemistry. It could’ve been a lot better if it wasn’t about the money but about what made Borderlands unique to any other video game!

My theater wasn't empty it was like halfway filled and I saw thus movie 3 times and actually liked it.
