Most relaxing lens/camera reviewer ever!
When that “Greetings everyone…” drops in,
I chill immediately.

They do an 18mm and a 23mm version, and the 18mm is much cheaper, so I'd be interested to see a side-by side comparison of result from these two lenses.

Years ago I played with the Canon MP-E 65mm. IT WAS THE MOST FRUSTRATING LENS I have ever used. Anyone who considers these sorts of specialized lenses should be fully aware that you will need a lot of patience. I mean more then you ever thought possible in picturetaking. It is not the same as say a Autofocus 100mm macro. Those are fun. These are next level.

Greetings! Thanks for the video, very detailed and interesting to watch! I have a question about choosing a lens, I would be glad to get advice. I have a BMPCC 4K and a speedbooster, resulting in a crop factor of 1.35x. If I take the 18mm version of Asrhori for APS, will there be a lot of vignetting? Or is it better to take the 28mm version of the lens, which is designed for full frame cameras?

that’s a pretty long one, guess this thing sees places that no other lens has touched before…

I wonder if they'll release a wider focal length of the probe lens.

I know they were looking to release a periscope version of their lens (just like Laowa's), but something really wide (FF 16mm) would be interesting

Random thought -- the end of the lens looks small enough that you might get away with using a 2x anamorphic adapter designed for, say, a mobile phone and/or a drone camera.

Hello Sir thanks for having such an awesome Channel. When an we expect to see a video about the Samyang/Rokinon 35-150 zoom? For some reason youtube seems to be acting like this lens never happened. I'm so interested to see how it tests compared to the

How does the Sony image stabilization react when the lens is so unconventionally designed ?

Not sure if it's a coincidence, but someone was using a very similar lens on tonight's springwatch

At a glance I thought Sony started making fishing poles. I was like “ wait what the F???…..”😂😂😂 that’s an interesting piece of equipment though.

Sony A5100 launch at August, 2014. Almost 9 years from now, enough said.

That Lense is just a copy of the Laowa 24mm f/14 Probe with different specs.

Careful with the "aps-c and more depth of field" claim when talking macro photography. For the same lens and same aperture, at the minimum focus distance, an aps-c camera will actually provide less depth of field when compared with a full frame. When using a full frame in crop mode, dof will be exactly de same.

It might sound as a joke, but be careful with this lens, in particular in the US, you might get shot while trying to get a macro shot of a cop’s badge.

Please don't spread the misinformation that cropped sensors (ASP-C, MFT) have inherently more DOF than FF (same goes to medium format vs FF, etc.). At a given angle of view and focusing distance you can have more DOF only by reducing the diameter of your aperture. If you match angle of view, focusing distance and aperture diameter (focal length divided by the f-stop number), you'll have the same DOF regardless of sensor size.
