@Trdpshr well ours took about three to five pulls this winter. but we went through about all of the moving parts and replaced bearings all the way through the two that i have. and i got up 95 on a flat field with the kind of snow that makes great hard snowballs

@Trdpshr well we've been doing lots of motor rebuilding and undercarriage work with new bearings all through these sleds. but i on a flat surface and a good amount of space i hit 95 on a good day with some compacted snow.

@falloutbutt We have 3 of these Yamaha 440s and all of them took 14-16 pulls this year. Usually we can't start them without gas in the cylinders but this year we managed. They probably need new Reeds. Fastest they have gone is 80mph or so. I don't know how you managed to hit 95mph I do not think that is correct.

I have a safarie and you only need to prim it 2 times and 1st pull it start and it gose around 95-100 on a good day

@barriejimmy There really isn't anything you need to do. I would just take a quick look over the sled, make sure the spark plugs are tight and the covers are on them, check your belt, mine as well check the oil while your under the hood. Then go ahead and start it up, let it run until it gets to operating temp. Let it get pretty warm before you start opening up the throttle. Also, I don't know if this really works, but spray WD-40 on your slides so they don't wear out with no snow.

@polarisindy600 Haha thanks! I was actually thinking of you when I made this lol and you are the inspiration behind this video since you have all your start up videos. I was thinking, man I gotta make one! And this GoPro Hero HD has really good sound quality imo.

hey, looks like you are having some trouble getting that thing started under five pulls. Ive got two of these sleds that ive gone through completely and they run great. ive gotten them up to around 95mph according to the stock speedos. how bout yours?
