For light colored paint I like the black out sport package. But on the dark colored paint the chrome looks better in my opinion ☺️

Save your money… base is best! You still get great handling, plenty of speed, and a cool looking vehicle inside and out.

can't beat the classic look with the chrome can't believe the M sport is only cosmetic it's nothing to do with the engine never knew that!!! the classic chrome look I don't know how everyone doesn't like that better.

M50i is the only way to go. 40i is basic and the full blown M is too much.

So much more to the m sport package than just the looks. Steering wheel, interior trim, shift programing, and shock adjustability to name just a few. This video is just about the exterior. And he missed the painted wheel well arches of the m sport package.

Having just recently bought a '22 X5 for my wife, I found this interesting. I definitely prefer the classic X5 over the M Sport package. Personally, I found the M Sport package to look a little cheap. The only M Sport features that I find attractive are the front brakes and the wheels. My X5 came with 21" wheels that look as nice as the 20" wheels on the M Sport, so all I need is the painted M brake calipers.

I got my wife the basic line, premium package. Blacked out all the chrome and gray. Found some m sport wheels online for a grand on offer up and swapped over. Also, had the calipers painted. BOOM! Never missed the M sport. I could not find a M sport. I also just flagged/saved a crashed one on offer up that is being scrapped. I may grab the rear bumper and tips. It is just 700.

xLine (base) package with m-sport wheels is the best looking combo

M Sport package adds nothing to improve the performance of the car. The Xline looks classier. Save your money and go for the Msport brakes, 20” wheels upgrade alone if offered as standalone option as it has been varying wildly due to supply chain issues. But if black is your thing go for it.

Base is more better with black car. M sport is better with white car

Everything blacked out looks so cheap. It’s exactly the same inside where most new cars have piano black which looks and feels cheap, not to mention how badly it gets scratched. Traditional wood elements are left behind and people wanna have a “sporty” look in their sub 200 hp car.
