Tutorial: How to use SIM800L GSM Module with Arduino

#TechToTinker There are actually a lot of GSM module available in the market but I personally recommends and prefers SIM800L due to its size and simplicity. It has a small footprint so it occupies a very small space. This is because SIM800L only provides the basic core of GSM. Meaning to say, you need to provide additional circuitry in order to use it. But don't worry, I will show you the simplest way to use it, so stay tuned.

Can I use SIM 800L as the module in a way that can send SMS of the GPS location once the button (SOS) is pressed? Do note that I have used Neo 6M module for GPS tracking... So is it possible to automatically send an SMS alert??

Hello Im doing school project....Is it okay to have sim800l connected to 5V? on arduino?....i want sim800l to always run but not sure if to use 5v or from homemade powersupply 5v do 4v....is it okay to use just resistor or should i use diode if so which one ....im clueless

Hii, ask ko lang po sir kung ano problema non akin. Yun lumalabas lang sa serial monitor is "INITIALIZING", wala akong "OK" na natatanggap mula sa SIM800l po.

Ano po sa tingin nyo yun mali? Kasi yun SIM800l po is nag biblink naman po siya every 3 seconds, and I think nababasa nya po yun sim ko naman.
