BREAKING: SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES ADDRESSES TARIFF POLICY

🤝 Our commitment to you

We understand that unexpected charges are never welcome. While these tariffs are significant, we’re doing everything we can to minimize the impact on you, the collector.

Because these tariffs were unforeseen, and are dynamic in nature, they were not factored into the original item price.

To offset a portion of these new fees, a Tariff Impact Fee will be added to products that ship from the factory during the tariff period. It is our goal and intention to keep this fee at the smallest possible amount, to best support the collecting community. Based on current conditions, we anticipate this fee to be 6%.

If your order is affected, we will notify you in advance. We’re also waiving standard non-refundable deposit (NRD) rules for these affected orders, so you can choose to cancel if the extra cost doesn’t work for you. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident with every purchase from Sideshow.

📦 How the Impact Fee works

The Tariff Impact Fee applies only to items that we import while tariffs are in effect.
Once tariffs are lifted, no surcharge will be applied to new items arriving in our warehouse.
Products that arrived (or arrive) during the tariff period will continue to carry the surcharge until they sell through.
Collectors with orders affected by this fee will receive additional email notifications specific to their orders.

⏳ Looking ahead

We’re hopeful these trade conditions are short-lived and remain committed to keeping your costs as low as possible while still delivering the high-quality products and service you expect. Should tariffs be lifted, we’ll promptly discontinue the Tariff Impact Fee on new arrivals.

Kudos to Sideshow for taking care of their customers during these period of turmoil. Sideshow business will definitely be affected. Hope they can stay strong and battle through this tariff trade war. Hope customers can understand and support sideshow by continuing to purchase from them despite the increase in price.

This is very fair. Sideshow continues to show why they are the best in the business and highly regarded and trusted by collectors.

High price points + high shipping costs + sales tax + tariffs = a large amount of collectors finding a new hobby.

That's amazing they're allowing the NRD to be refundable for this situation - some quality customer service right there.

6% is honestly nothing compared to what I thought it could be.

Thank you for bringing this topic to the forefront. It's a very important topic and needs to be discussed.

6% is not bad at all. I was expecting the full brunt. I will be keeping all my pre-orders.

Sideshow could just start making their products in America.

The "situation" won't be over for 4 years.

It’s no doubt Sideshow is the best online retailer for high end collectibles 👍🏽

In the uk I’m paying import tax of around £50 for something that’s costing me £250, on top of shipping costs that are around £30, so even 6% is a real pain. I’ll be looking to buy from China in future I think. Have around 8 preorders with sideshow currently..

Never has there been a better time to reevaluate your life of things you need and things you want.

6% is not that much because they will have to pay that 145%, and I know they do not win that much on what they import. Let's hope this will not destroy them and other toys manufacturers

I love how everyone is upset about tariffs and it’ll end the hobby as we know it.

However, people still buy statues even after shipping prices almost 5-10x in most cases, but that’s just okay.

Not to mention the ridiculous prices these companies have put on a lot of these statues.

Sideshow is being generous as their markups are crazy! Take hot toys figure for example, they are roughly sold for 2-300 locally here in HK, and yet, they sell them for 500+ on average in the states!

I just received a notice saying I need to pay an additional 6% on the Spider-Punk figure, but I never got the original tariff email from them—and I check my emails daily. This is the second time I’ve been notified about delays for different products. How do we know they’re not intentionally holding items just to charge extra fees? Especially when I’ve seen both the Spider-Punk figure and the Hono Magneto figure available from other retailers, while Sideshow continues to claim they're delayed.

Anyone else notice Amazon doesn't have tariff increase on their pre-orders? Is someone getting out of paying tariffs?

So far I haven't got a email on harley and im pretty sure she should already been in the US warehouse. 6% of 1500 is 90 bones. If anything. Im willing to pay the extra 90, its not tht bad. I definitely appreciate 6%
