He is a monetary economist for heavens sake...Tell us about Kashmir, you have been to Kashmir? Poor guy would have gone there as a tourist, stop trying to ask him strategic military questions

Those who are questioning Mr. Rajan's knowledge, know nothing about his callibre and his reputation in the whole world. He is widely regarded for his insights about the Recession of 2007. Yet we Indians are more worried about his College Degrees. During his tenure as Governor, the inflation came DOWN drastically. He fought against UPA's populist agendas to curb inflation. He did the same under NDA. But NDA disregarded his expertise to continue their own populist agendas. And sadly they even tried to malign his image in India. He couldn't realise that Modi is no Manmohan. While Manmohan had respect for him (even if he didn't agree to Rajan's ideas), Modi is a total "Dissent-Killer".
Rajan is a guiding force which we need desperately for our country, not the one we deserve, unfortunately.

Respectfully Dr. Rajan, you make sense speaking about monetary policy and economics, not politics, sovereignty and foreign policy. Let the Indian political leadership determine the course of action.

Yes. Mr. Rajan is right on Kashmir issue. India failed to resolve unemployment problem in the region as well as in country.

The anchor doesn't question the host about human rights violations in Kashmir carried out by the Indian army inside J&K on daily basis. Biased point of view.

Economics is a magical subject. Once you are an economist, you are an expert on all other subject. It's another matter than economists - top economists - are, on their BEST days, as good as mediocre astrologers in predicting anything about economy. They are, however, amazing in explaining why something happened AFTER it happens. Unlike Science, there is no Math or lab to prove something. You can say North and your colleague can say South and both of you can be top economists at the same time on the same topic. Biggest regret of my life - I should have taken Economics.
