This takes me back to the my childhood memories in the 70s.
I can just see me & my dad riding around Gordon Alabama...about 20 miles south of Dothan Alabama in his old white 1972 Chevy C/10 LWB pickup...no a/c...no p/s...3spd on the column & both windows rolled down.
We would listen to Tom T Hall on his old 8-track player or listen to 95.5 WTVY in Dothan Alabama.
I can still see my dad tapping the steering wheel & telling me no one was as good as Tom T Hall.
I sure do miss my dad.

Just heard this song on the season two episode of "The Paper Chase, " in the episode titled "Hart Goes Home." The song was so appropriate for the episode. Looked through my CD collection, and there it was! Great song from one of the best songwriters in the history of American Country Music.
