Clarification - for exam style question 4, the - in front of ln4 should be taken to the power using power rule for logs, giving b=4^-1=1/4.

Hi, I'm currently working on Exam Q2 and I was wondering if there was a mistake at 7:31 because x^2 - 9x + 20 factorises to x=-5 or x=-4 ?? Is there something I'm missing, or is this the case because y=ln x is only defined for x>0, in which case I'm a little lost!

sure sir to bother you but for the final question surely B would = 1/4 because you would have to use the power rule to make the symbols the same. Anyways thank you dont know why i havent left a comment thanking you considering you have single handedly carried me throughout alevels being the only maths resource i use
