How to free hand hollow grind a knife on a 2x72 belt grinder. I like to run the grinder at a slow speed and grind bare handed to feel the groove and know how warm the blade is getting.

One of these days I'm going to learn to hollow grind. I've never tried it because I just think a flat grind looks much better 👍 great job I would say you've done it a few times LOL

No disrespect, but I personally don’t like hollow grind’s because you cannot mirror polish them yourself like a flat grind. Good job tho.

I have a buddy who has to bench top belt sanders he uses and a jig so he can push them closer together or pull them further apart just to hollow grind both sides perfectly evenly.
