Yo, agree with Kurt or not, the amount of character development Kurt has gone through since the first season when Puck would throw him in the dumpster is just incredible. Kurt earned that strength to stand up to Puck whereas he didn't have it before. I'm so proud of him.

I wish Kurt and Puck were closer...I mean, I think this is the only scene where they are alone talking to each other...Puck was Finn's best friend, and Kurt was his brother.Maybe a scene with them...

0:32 I admire how Kurt stood his ground. This scene was too emotional for me. Finn and Kurt were always there for each other.

Everyone is saying that Kurt is selfish and Puck deserves the jacket. Guess what?! Puck may have known Finn longer than Kurt, have more in common than anyone but Puck also treated Finn horribly. Just remember it is the bond you have between someone not how long you know someone. Kurt respected Finn, they were even step brother and they got along very well.
If you think Puck deserves the jacket then everyone in glee club has every right to have a jacket. Kurt was the closest to Finn that is why he is hurting the most.

I hate how everybody is like kurt should have given him the jacket. No he shouldn't, it's good that he stood his ground! Haven't you watched the episode?! That jacket meant a lot to Kurt, he felt safe with it. He said himself that it was like a Hero (aka Finn) would walk down the Hallway whenever he wore it. Of course he wouldn't give it up so easily also what did you expect?
"Give me the jacket!" - Yes sure Puck, here you have it!

What he should have done is give him something else, take him home with him after school to Finns room etc.

Ps: don't come with the argument that Puck was his best man because Kurt was his step brother, and yea I know because of that he had a whole room full of his stuff but he is part of the family and if you are taking it from Kurt, you also take it from Finns mom.

Kurt does deserve this jacket, losing a close family member (even if only by marriage) is always very hard and that was his way of feeling that Finn is always with him

This scene shows how much Kurt grew through the series. That shy boy from season 1? Long gone. In his place is a strong, confident young man not afraid to stand up for himself.

Interesting, even if Kurt earned Puck's respect after the game, they never quite got a long. Not out of homophobia, as Puck got a long with Blaine just fine, but simply because Puck never saw him as one of the guys.

"Oh let Puck have the jacket. He knew him longer and he has nothing."

Yeah? Well what about Rachael? What about Santanna? What about all his other friends who each deserve the right to have the jacket? Just because Puck wants it, doesn't mean he should have it over everyone else.

The scene had nothing to do with the jacket. It showed the growth in both characters. Kurt has the confidence and strength to stand up to Puck. Puck has grown to respect Kurt and like him. Otherwise he could have easily taken him.
