I also love that without the shadow perspective, you can still tell the order of heights for 4 of the buildings. From the back: far left has the door, second one in has the darkesttop so is the lowest, far right has a door, second from the right has a helipad so is the highest, then the middle is the last to be figured out. I wonder if there was a clue for the middle also like the other four.

So, the buildings are like tumblers in a lock, and the shadow on the box is your clue for how to arrange the tumblers. Simple, but clever.

This is almost like one of those stone puzzles you see in a movie where you can only figure out the puzzle on a certain day when a shadow is cast at a certain time. Pretty awesome

I love this it’s a puzzle box where (to me) the solution makes sense once you know it and not just a box you have to try random stuff with and hope you get it. Nothing wrong with those types of puzzle boxes I just feel like this feels more like a puzzle that you can solve

probably my favorite puzzle box ive ever seen, just super unique and cool and once you understand it, it will be an amazing feeling. just a really clever but not necessarily impossible box to open

I knew the solution as soon as i saw the shadows, but its not meant to he hard, its meant to he a conversation piece, and it is. I would love to have one of these. You could add more building and even do intersecting shadows for difficulty tweaks. I really like this thing.
