“Monochrome”! Tutorial! Puddle Dump and Swirl! Black and White! Abstract Acrylic Pour! Cloud Pour!

Hi! Whew! I love monochromatic pours! So graphic and has interesting movement!

This is a 24 x 36 canvas! I had to pour over the original pour as the composition was lacking! I stopped the time lapse to explain!

All paints are mixed with ONLY water and a drizzle of luquitex pouring medium! No silicone was used!

Before doing paint pours I was a meticulous detail pencil portrait artistry . The contrast, precision and drama of the play of light against the dark and shadows fills my heart with so much joy!! Happy happy happy!!! Just adore !

I loved the first one better because it had more black and the pearls were more spaced out...but that's just me! Black and white pours are just lovely!!♥

Enjoyed seeing your car. I too like the black and white. I struggle with ‘is my paint thing enough?’ So I add a little more water and then it’s too thin. Seems to be a fine line but hopefully I’ll get it. Thanks.

Love the black and white. The pearls really popped on the second one. My favorite part is still the middle and the pearls around there.

Gorgeous work...I used to get results similar to this when I was first learning dutch pour...it wasn't the result I was going for but nonetheless I achieved it by accident. I see that sometimes you use floetrol in your mix and sometimes not🤔 do you have a preference now? Floe or no floe??
