The title is misleading, this is a 1500 watt inverter not 3000 watt, the 3000 watt is only the peak output for a fraction of a second so it can't be used to run 3000 watts.

Great video, I really liked your whole presentation and editing, but I think this testing should have been done off of a battery in a running car, so at least you could test it with a fully charged battery for every tool. As is, your not really showing the full potential of the inverter. The charge level of the battery is a major factor effecting performance and making your results unreliable. I'm really interested to know if the welder would have welded if it were in a fully charged battery, or if it would have worked with a bigger bank (two batteries in parallel) If you'd have just added some jumper cables from your test battery to a running cars' battery that would have made this whole thing a true measure of the inverter.

hell'o and thanks i noticed you used battery clamps on the inverter wire to the battery can you do the same to the back of the inverter with just the wire and clamps to that terminal ? you know two clamps to the battery two clamps to the inverter for quick connect thanks and what size wire was that if in american would it be two 6 size making it a size 3 as america goes the bigger the wire the smaller the number?? thanks again

I’m hooking up a 5000 watt converter to a 4 - 12volt battery bank but when I hooked the positive cable it sparked pretty good, is this normal, I stopped and need more infro
