In response to a question on Facebook today from a user who is claiming his FLOW 8 is outputting 200ms of delay at all times. Have you seen this happen with your FLOW 8? Even a factory reset does not seem to have helped, so here is a test of how it should work, and also a look at how you can test the latency of your FLOW 8 at home.

The user has responded since this video was shared with them, saying that it was in-fact user error & that they cannot replicate the issue with further testing. So that's all for the best, hopefully this video will help folks in the future test their gear and sort these types of issues out quickly. It can happen to anyone.

Here's the set up I'm trying to achieve. Drummer ears into phones jack- 2 separate Monitor mixes for myself MON1 (singer/guitar) and Keys player MON2

For live shows with click and tracks I'm running click into channel 3 and backing tracks in channel 4. FOH mix (to hear ourselves/ our instruments) Channel 1

So far I've noticed if drummer makes level/fader changes while on MAIN mix mode- it also effects those levels on both MON sends-

Isthere a way to make totally independent (aka 3 separate mixes?). Under MENU- Do I need to set phones jack to (pre or post mix? Or MON pre/ post?)

OR is main mix faders always going to effect MON 1 and

The only latency issues I've had are with the Bluetooth. I measured that at between 500ms and 800ms. I reached out to their support and after a few weeks they confirmed that this is a expected limitation of the Flow 8. It's a shame because low latency Bluetooth codecs (such as aptX) should be able to achieve sub 40ms which is fine for lip sync on video. This can be mitigated in a variety of ways (external Bluetooth receiver or other cable adapters) but they all use up additional inputs which some users might not have available or suit their use case.

Hi mate!

Could you please do a video tutorial on how to setup the behringer flow 8 for mobile (smartphone) Facebook and tiktok livestreames.

Thanks!

Does adding stuff like effects, eq, and compression, add latency to the outputs?

OK but CAN you actually configure a delay on the main out? I would see that as useful when syncing to video performance that gets delayed due to processing lag

Is it possible to use xlr inputs 1 & 2 also with line level instruments and an xlr to 1/4“ TS Adapter?

Thank you very much for this video. You may have said it in the video, but my English is not good enough. That's why I wanted to ask in writing. I live stream on Twitch. What I'm wondering is this. When I use all these effects and digital audio enhancements, will I experience a latency when monitoring the audio? Latency in hearing myself prevents me from speaking fluently. Is it a suitable device for radio broadcasts on Twitch? I use Behringer x1222 analog mixer in my live broadcasts. You know, when I speak, I turn down the volume of the music with a fader. When I'm done speaking, I turn the music back up. Spotify music sound from my computer and my voice from my microphone go to the broadcast as a single stereo mix. In other words, when I add any digital effects to my microphone, my music sound is affected because they all go on the air as a mix. Whereas, I want to make sound improvements to my microphone input and music input separately. Do you think it would be a significant upgrade? Will this solve my problem? For this kind of solution, I normally have to use an expensive and large digital mixer like the Presonus StudioLive 16. And I'm looking for a more compact and cheaper solution. You can also suggest a different mixer. Thank you so much.

if you go to the chip on the mixer and reprogram there you will find the solution
