Some of my favourite lesser talked about things are:

Drowning a zombie with armour in bedrock makes the zombie drop the armour when it becomes a drowned.

Top snow is affected by gravity, so if you break the block below it instead of just breaking it will fall downwards and land on the surface below.


Pistons can push block entities

Potions and dye-able water in cauldrons

Better way to make tipped arrows

Armour stands are better in every way

It was honestly kinda cute whenever I saw a Baby Zombie riding on a big Zombies back, because it looked like a dad taking his son to work lmao

my favorite feature in bedrock edition is that impaling trident cause can effect any mob that touches water
but in java it just effect ocean mobs

My favorite underrated bedrock feature is that maps show biome colors. So there isn't any ugly bright green grass in a wooded badlands biome, and you can actually tell what biome you're looking at. Bedrock maps definitely have a lot of random green pixels and don't show height very well at high zoom levels, but the biome colors both look good and are useful. (although please mojang combine both to make the ultimate good looking maps)

The baby zombies are so much more interesting because they will always try riding the closest mob, making them run as fast as a baby zombie.

I love the fact that baby zombies and their variants can ride many things, especially when they ride normal zombies and their variants. Because of this, there’s quite a rare chance that a baby zombie villager will spawn riding a regular zombie villager, so if you cure both of them, you can let the baby grow up and then you have a villager standing on a villager. I’ve always wanted to do this, but it’s just so rare. And the one time I ever saw a baby zillager riding a normal zillager, my cousin didn’t react in time to stop killing it when I told her how important it could be

There’s also a few neat things like fallen trees in forests, potions in witch cauldrons, better methods of dying leather and a few more.
