Aspirational presentation. Dreamtime stuff that will send us broke. Spend spend spend all our money overcoming problem after problem with our grid. If we continue with this we'll paint ourselves into a corner.

The sad bit is that amount of money would buy all the nuclear power (even at the worst of prices) we would need, saving our farms and wild life, with enough power to desalinate water for irrigation, produce sensible amounts of hydrogen and fertilizers, steel etc and not need so much mining. India is now producing nuclear electricity for very little cost per KWhr. Soon Korea, Japan and Indonesia will all be doing the same. Who do they think will buy our expensive hydrogen when they will be producing it themselves.
Poor Australia!
