7 acres for 37 horses? 😮I guess land in CA is too expensive. In one area of VA, you needed 10 acres for the first horse, one acre for each additional horse. I guess these horses spend most of their time in stalls

Horses who don’t have access to pasture are like humans who don’t have access to sidewalks, roads, parks. Imagine spending your life either in your room or on a treadmill.

Horses look depressed.
Where is turnout?!?

Why would you breed at 3? genuine question because I have been told breeding before around 5 is unhealthy and dangerous. Also where do you send the horses for turn out? I know riding schools are busy and in the day between lessons you might stall, but what about the time where the horses get to have fun and play and graze? Its really important for them to be horses too, not just riding companions or work horses because they get tend to depressed when in stalls for long times.

Why do you not have any actual turnout. So many riding arenas and no pastures. Your horses need constant daily time in a large pasture.

My math may be off but 37 horses on 7 acres… doesn’t that add up to like 765 square metres per horse? and that’s if it were a flat block of land.. 🫠 that’s down right illegal here in Australia

No pasture. No runs. But more than enough arena... Just because you can, doesn't mean you should and this is a perfect example.

You have a beautiful facility and horses but if I did some of the things you guys do I would be attacked, having 37 horses on 7 acres? We had around 30 on 300 acres and people were telling us it was too much horses. And ours had plenty of shelter and never ran out of grass.
And breeding at 3 is far too early, I am not against breeding on foal heat but I never breed before 4 at the earliest. And even then some people say that's too early.

love love love your vids. but i am concerned on why you bread oakley at 2-3 years old. i JUST rode my 4 yr old mare for the first time. and if we bread our horses, its usally because they are retired, hurt, cant be ridden anymore, if we wanted to use a mare just for breading, i would wait at least until their 6 years old. no hate, just kinda concerned.

Ladiessss, I don’t care how beautiful your hair looks and how much you trust your horse, ALWAYS wear a helmet. Save that gorgeous hair and preserve your beautiful brain by WEARING A HELMET.
Horses are prey animals. Even bomb proof horses can bolt and/or toss great riders. WEAR A HELMET. It’s worth the helmet hair. #prettygirlswearhelmets

Look I’m sure you love your horses with your whole heart BUT. No turn out and No pastures are just plain cruel. That doesn’t mean you guys don’t take care of your horses. It’s also a lot to have and it’s clearly a business.. and unless u have a whole team there is no way every horse gets the attention they need and deserve. Breeding with a cross breed is not the most responsible thing to do. Just bc you have the money to have horses doesn’t mean you have the space. If u personally have five horses I’m concerned ab how you have the proper time for them. U seem sweet and young, u have been raised in this world and u trust your family but that doesn’t mean it’s the right thing. No hate wish your family the best and hope u guys think ab what is best for the horses and not the ppl

Beautiful horses, can you show us the paddocks where they get to be turned out? I can just imagine besides the stallions it would be such a brilliant herd.

Pregnant at three?! OMFG. A large, slow maturing breed, too.

This is just sad to me. Why on Earth would you have 37 horses living on 7 acres? I know I'll probably get some bad replies for this, so don't say that it's harder to provide land where she lives. If you can't provide the horses with space, you should not have horses. Just because you can does not mean that you should.
