The queen of blue eyed soul delivers a breathtaking performance of her biggest hit, Son of a Preacher Man, originally from the album "Dusty In Memphis" which was recorded in September of 1968 at American Sound studio in Memphis (also where Elvis Presley recorded Suspicious Minds).

Son of a Preacher man is included on Rolling Stone's list of the greatest songs of all time and has been covered by Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Ike & Tina Turner and many others. The studio version was produced by Jerry Wexler and Tom Dowd of Atlantic Records, and the story goes that the song was originally offered to Aretha Franklin, but she turned it down. Dusty recorded this hit and the rest is history.
