The Significance of Jesus' First Miracle

What was Jesus' first miracle? Why did Jesus turn water to wine? What is the significance of that first miracle? Rabbi Schneider shares that studying and understanding John's Gospel is profound. Jesus turns water to wine, and it is better than the wine served prior. But the significance is that as we keep our eyes on Jesus, the best years of our lives will be the latter years of our lives. Even as the outer body fails, Jesus renews our inner man. We will receive a deeper peace and grace from God. We will be renewed day by day. God shows His glory by doing something supernatural in the lives of His children. Write and keep track of the things God does in your life to give you courage as you press on.

The Lord is very considerate and is always near. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am determined to make the next half of my life about pursuing God, my Love. I am married and have no children as determined by God. I spoke to God and said I have no children like my mother to take care of her through her transition and passing through dementia. I told God that I expected Him to take care of me. Now, in this message, speaking to me was the story of the 88 year old woman Gladys, I have faith that the Lord will take care of me as I age. Amazing that He answered me in your message one hour later. It just reminds me how much God loves me and cares for my every thought. Praise God. Thank you Rabbi for being His willing servant.

The favorite understanding God gave me was about Jesus first miracle in Cana of Galilee...turning water to wine.

What grabbed me was Jesus response to his mother’s statement given the environment Wedding and Statement ...why are you bothering me my hour has not yet come. Such an odd response she was just telling him they are out of wine.

Then the governor saying most people bring out the best stuff first and after the guests have well drunk and don’t know any better bring out the bad...but you saved the best for last.

God showed me...That’s how Jesus ministry started turning water to wine...water to spirit...thats how it ended with his death on the cross..taking us from the law to salvation via our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by faith.

The story saving the best for last...God said that’s me...I gave you life, my word, the prophets...I saved the best for last..my son Jesus Christ.

God is so good

That’s what makes God’s Word so exciting for me...I never know what he is going to anoint me with next. It really is the living word of God.

Amen Rabbi! totally agree on that! When I was a child I already had a prophetic gift and I loved to draw. In my kitchen there is a Picture that I did when I was About 7 years old...from left to Right there is a horizon in the background which describes my path of life, on the left side there are many dark Clouds, even a light Tower and Woods, it all seems quite dark and difficult. There is also a Burning house, but then the Clouds get lighter and suddenly there is a chuch Building and the Clouds stop there. Then on the Right side of the painting there is a bright sun and no Clouds at all, so the church Building separates those 2 sides, the dark one and the bright one completley! I Always knew, that this was going to be my life and that the latter days would be the better ones…..in front of that there are 2 horses, one is Eating grass, the other one is a foal, that is attached to a peg with a rope….I still don´t know what THAT means
