Logic Gates Basics

I've made this video as an e-learning module for my advanced flash and animation class.
It is my attempt at a simple to follow explanation on the basic Logic gates used for designing circuits: Not, Or, and And with a little bit about the other ones.
It's been a long time since I learned this material, so let me know if something is wrong.

I have a question to the "NOT" gate... when the input in it is a low current (= "off"), how can the gate proceed to output a high current? I mean it cannot magically create more electricity, can it?

I know this is really basic but I didn't pay attention on this back in school, it just starts to get me interested right now.

Logic gates don't work on the basis of electrical current and no electrical current- they work on a HIGHER electrical current and a LOWER electrical currents. Sending NO electrical current would give no input and no output.
This is why they're often labelled high and low instead of the binary 1 and 0.
