Downwind paddling in Antarctica

This is a video of the first recorded surfski downwind paddle in Antarctica.
I was part of an expedition team for the Lewis Pugh Foundation. I was in charge of the water safety team which was a combination of the Hurtigruten crew, myself and Peter Grantham.
We were very fortunate to have been able to take a fleet of surfskis with us on the trip. Because of what we knew the surfski would have to endure on the ship, as well not being sure of any launch or landing areas, we settled on roromoulded Epic V7 surfskis, with the kick up rudders. They were heavy, but perfect.
Our trip started in the Falklands, then we sailed to South Georgia and then on to the Antarctic Peninsula. We were able to paddle and do downwinds at all these locations. I stand to be corrected but I think we were the first surfski paddlers to paddle in the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica.
