This song changed my life, first time tripping on psylocybin when I was 19, you don't need to take mushrooms to enjoy this song but I was literally transported to another universe with this song on loop, and every time I listen to Khruangbin I get the same feeling to a lesser degree every. single. time. No other music does that to me, even though I listen to sooo much great music.

One day I’m gonna be an old man living in my dream house somewhere sunny. A lovely old build with a nice bit of land for animals and the like. I’ll have a big garage to paint and create art in. My wife will be a right tonic and my grand kids will come and have some of their fondest memories at our place.

In this era of my life I’ll wake up early, say about 7am? I’ll put this song on having not heard it for months.. perhaps years?

And I’ll laugh. I’ll laugh at what a ride it’s been. I’ll laugh at the “troubles” I faced when this song first floated its way into my story.

I’ll grin at the sun.

Then I’ll check my tech device and see the date..

To me, along with kool and the gang's "summer madness", this is the ultimate summer song. I always loved listening to it, but today hits very very hard. My fiancée and I loved summer. We lived for the summer. Going to the beaches and chilling all day was our favourite thing. I even proposed to her on the beach when no one else was around. But she cheated and dumped me before the summer started. Now I think I'll cry every time I hear this song... Oh man, does life suck sometimes.
