I saw a chemist on tiktok testing out all the brands of permeable nail polish and non was passing water. I have tried this test like you did and trust me they don’t pass water it’s just sliding off around the polish spot and wetting the tissue

You let it seep through for a minute but for wudhu you have to wash ur hands 3x. So could you test again but just putting water straight on (similar to how you’d do wudu) and seeing the result?

But a paper towel is different from a nail bed. You cannot say with 100% certainty that nail polishes are wudhu friendly. There is still an element of doubt, so it’s better to avoid applying it when you’re going to pray

If you left the nail polish to dry, it will not pass the water 😆
