In the show the robots have attained a measure of consciousness, the central idea of which has moved from whether consciousness can be artificially manufactured to whether we can preserve human consciousness by printing it onto AI.

Based upon my powers of observation, I would surmise humans are becoming more like robots. Strange times.

Even if humans can build a robot similar to motion or close to brain power, it doesn't mean there will have consciousness. There are more or less sophisticated robots, the ones which are less sophisticated don't have less courteousness than the ones more sophisticated. This shows that if robots get more developed it doesn't mean suddenly at some point they will start having some courteousness. It might be, but I don't see anything leaning to that direction.

What makes humans think they are conscious?? It is just a very elaborate defense mechanism of the brain.

we can create a self realizing machine intelligence. i kind of have got an idea how to do exactly that but explaining it would be boring long paper but solves what conciousness is at the very core and is a more integrated and extended version of what artifical neural networks do right now.

Western expansion as thematic,
to Me as a Native American and survivor of a holocaust,
would only push an Anglo-Euro centric trending of ethnocentrified keywords and
the ideology that the Anglo-Europeans are somehow, by fiction mind you, the most knowledgeable
concerning AI or trans-humanism.

Maybe some day they will build robots with some degree of consciousness but I doubt they will ever build wise robot.

i think a evoluton of a new type of percepton is needed to create a self aware machine as the machine have to be able to interprate how one type of information transelate into another directly. this type of processing will at first only be bery useful in computer games as ai must become more humans more clumsy more vulnerable to make more fun for the player. the perceptron nodes we have now can only handle one type of data at the time. it can't see and hear at the same time. it can't see the connection between a sound and a object in a picture. this level of processing is impossible with the current neural net technology like deepmind and each perceptons must become mor intelligent per node than today. each perceptron must be multitasking different types of data all at once and transelate one into the other.

Simple, a robot will never have a Soul, and Spirit, so it will never be conscious a robot is not made in the image of God or does not come from God so therefore it's not living because God is a living spirit... A robot can only do what we program it to do it to do, it cannot reason for itself because it doesn't have what we have which is god-given free will and that's what makes us conscious
