Dont destroy your body because you feel as if youre not enough, love ya self.

This seems like a horrific result of body shaming honestly, nobody should feel like they need to destroy their legs to be a little taller.

As a 5’2 Male adult. I often always hated how short I was and always felt inferior to everyone. I sometimes considered this idea. But I realized it’s better to be the best versions of ourselves. I decided it was better to train harder as an athlete and go to the gym. Those where the best decisions I ever took

Telling ppl the most confident men I ever dated were short. They knew their height wasn’t their personality or being. Their confidence was sexy!

It’s so sad that society makes people feel so insecure, and take their insecurities out on themselves and others, and instead of treating the root cause (societal issues), people pay for their bodies to be harmed to make them fit some weird standard when the standard and bias is the entire issue in the first place. There’s nothing wrong with you! You are perfect as the height you are!

We live in a society where people are shamed so bad for being short they think they need height surgery for validation

A girl said:

"He went from 5' to 5'7 just to still be short".

A boy I knew at school had this done. He had to have it done 3 or 4 separate times back in the 80s. He was about 5' tall, I think he gained 3 or 4" just because he was bullied for being short. Now we are 50, he has pain every day.

I had this exact same surgery when I was 12. My right leg was 6 cm shorter than my left one. I had to turn the screws on the fixateur 4 times a day for 1 year for it to “grow” 1 mm a day. The most painful thing was actually getting the external fixateur removed. The healing process took a long while and was extremely painful. But anyway, this surgery was the best thing that ever happened to me and I am so thankful for it.

I saw an episode of South Park on this. Kyle ended up busting his “kneecaps”. 😂

You guys don't know, he ain't doing that to be just taller, i came across a youtube shorts which showed that he had different lengths of legs, so he had to wear prosthetics on the much shorter leg, so if he is undergoing this procedure I understand, as long as he is happy.
