This cat was trying to get to the frozen chicken inside the tray but it was rock solid even when they do managed to get it out. The woman who feeds these cats decided to create a contraption to ensure the cats would have warm meals throughout the day everyday during the brutal winter months.
This woman adopted many cats from the street, many haven't been adopted for long, and still obtain their stray cat tendencies. She used to live at another place where she had a pond and makes homemade meals for her cats.
Later, as the rescued animals grew, she rented this new place. The cats have their own shelters to shield themselves from the cold but their food is often easily froze in winter.
The woman feed them both kibbles and real meat, like chicken breasts. Although the kibbles aren't frozen, cats often prefer real meat. So she used PVC pipes and attached wires beneath it, it would heat the pipes all the time when it's plugged in so the cats have warm meals all the time.
I have covered stories from her before, she's a very good person who takes good care of all the cats seen here, even ones that are often bullied by other cats.
