Payment on Invoice via ACH - Payment Processing

SIMPLYFOOD Software – “How to process an ACH or bank account payment on Acumatica for SimplyFood." An ACH payment stands for Automatic Clearing House and is how electronic funds are transferred from bank to bank or between financial institutions. To take an ACH payment, a routing number and account number are required.

In this scenario, we take the role of an Accounts Receivable clerk and an existing invoice is selected from Receivables. When “Payment Method” is selected, we select “ACH Payment” and then “Capture.” From there, a window appears where information must be filled in such as “Routing Number” and “Accounting Number;” the customer’s name, address, and other info must also be confirmed. Once this is completed, we can take an ACH Payment for this customer.

Finally, the ACH payment shows in the “Credit Card Processing Info” tab with a transaction number and authorization number.

Since this is the second and final payment for the customer, you will see that the invoice is now marked as “Closed” in the “Status” area.
