Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are back on the campaign trail Friday, a day after Trump made headlines with a press conference where he said he agreed to debate Harris. Inflation started to rise in direct correlation to COVID-19 - supply chain shortages being the main cause. Inflation peaked in 2022 at 9% and is back down to around 3% which is near where it was pre-covid.
