I am trying to find out if this is my problem.

The settings of my extenstion have been configured, but when i try to upload my files to gitlab, it wants to connect to github and that sounds like another website.

VSCode can not connect to GitLab. The GitLab link and token is setting. But no reaction.

Thanks for trying this video - I'm sure you tried to make this video good in helping - however:
1 - I hardly see any text on my FullHD 1920 17 "laptop - your resolution to work is clearly much higher due.
And this small letters almost merge when decreasing the resolution in the video for HD1920. For a quality video tutor - you can use the area video recording mode for an important part of the screen. It will look like an enlarged clear-view version and be placed in the center of the vigeo without overlapping the as pause movie titles.
2 - if I pause to understand what you are doing - then the known problem of YouTube - its title completely overlaps about 10% of the field at the bottom and top of the frame - almost everything that is there is impossible to make out.
I will search your text description in html page - maybe it will help me more with this.

After reproducing your steps for me it says "GitLab project not found, the extension is going to hide the status bar until next refresh in 30s"
