I have a theory, but it has 3 parts: 1) The king and Fanuel had a plan to cause friction between both kingdoms, but she didn't expect that ending.
2) It wasn't the King, but Ainloth and Fanuel that had that plan. Maybe both of them dislike the other kingdom, but once again, she didn't expect that ending.
3) It was the King, Ainloth, and Fanuel that planned to cause some commotion so that the other kingdom is left in a bad position, but things developed in the way we know. Also, Fanuel didn't know what was going to happen to her.

I believe she was told some other circumstances. Maybe she was going to be kidnapped, but not what actually happened.

Other theory that I have is... (too wild of an assumption) someone is protecting or causing trouble for MC with that jailer. I was thinking if it could be the Esshai Kingdom's spies working to protect her, but what's the motive? Why her? Does she have any royal blood that she doesn't know or anybody knows?
That is a very unlikely possibility, though.

My other theory was that it was Tai, she is one of her people know. At least, she is for now. He also went to the dungeon and could have noticed the smell, so he decided to take revenge from those who opposed him or the royal family since the king is the one to make the decision about her destiny in that kingdom, not them (The Nantal's and the jailers). I thought about Sha'arnez, but I don't think so. He barely knows her. Why would he do that?

Oooh, that elf was kind of cute, but sir, look away. She is on her undies. I like him (the elf from the store), other people liked him too, him and the guard. We are always wanting other characters to be LIs 😅, but just give them a chance, I would like to see how the relationship with them would be.
