The motivation behind this project is not merely to improve the Zhongli Rest Area, but to initiate the concept of "food communication" from this location. We aim to preserve Taiwan's agricultural culture while transforming the traditional perceptions of agriculture among modern people. Leveraging the strategic distribution of rest areas across Taiwan, we intend to activate their functions by integrating local agricultural specialties into characteristic markets. By employing the concept of "food communication," we envision a more systematic approach where each rest area hosts its own unique market, accessible through internet-enabled mobile applications. This concept enables commuters on highways to receive real-time updates and make purchases conveniently. Furthermore, by integrating information from all rest area markets, we extend "food communication" from magazines to mobile phones, enhancing the convenience of utilizing environmental resources. This initiative aims to enhance public understanding of the production side while promoting habits of cherishing resources and respecting the Earth.
